Rasika does it again for Ozindcare
And PPCS Trichur gets a helping hand

As always, it was a program of very high quality, presented yet again by well reputed Rasika Dance Academy. All the senior students displayed their talents that was well received by the audience. The auditorium was full and it remained so until the end. That shows how the dancers could captivate the audience with such a theme. The Academy director and the guru Manjula Viswanath also presented a dance. Ozindcare would like to thank Manjula and the Rasika Academy and highly talented musicians for their continued support for this charity.

A helping hand for Pain and Palliative Care Society, Trichur

The fund raising program Ozindcare conducted was to give a helping hand for Pain and Palliative Care Society in Trichur and so it did. A small video about the work of PPCS was shown during the program. The cheque was handed over to Mr. Gee Varghese, representing PPCS during a cultural program conducted by Sydney Art Lovers. We thank SAL for their support.

We are happy to share the letter below received from PPCS Trichur so that it creates awareness about such a fine charity establishment in Kerala. (Please note that Ozindcare do not usually publish the communication details).

Dear Friends,
This is the first time in the twenty years history of our organization, kind hearted friends mobilized a very handsome amount of donation, by conducting a cultural programme in a far off land, for our patients suffering from terminal illness. We on behalf of our patients, volunteers and staff heartfully welcome you all to our bosom.
We are sure, your humanitarian gesture will create ripples in our society and that will be an undercurrent of compassion giving us tremendous energy in our areas of service.
The amount of donation will be routed for the cost of a building being constructed for terminally ill old people. The name of your organization “OZINDCARE INC, AUSTRALIA” will be exhibited as one of the donors, at an appropriate place once the construction of the Building is completed.
We are enclosing along with the receipt No. 35350 dt 9/4/16 for your donation of Rs: 223595/- (Rupees Two Lakh Twenty Three Thousand Five Hundred and Ninety Five only).

	Are you an Ozindcare member yet?

As time pass by, we receive lot of request for assistance both financial and otherwise. Our main source of income is generated through conducting cultural programs, food sales etc. We also have few supporters who donate money. The committee is of volunteers who spend their personal time for the benefit of less fortunate and helpless people in India, Australia and other countries. We also have few volunteers to help us without any conditions. We make sure that every dollars collected goes to the real needy in full. Any cultural program Ozindcare conduct is only for “helping the helpless” and we also make sure that the program is of high standard and quality. Each and every event conducted by OZINDCARE you attend will help some Helpless persons or another Volunteer charity Organisation somewhere.

As we are receiving more and more request for assistance, we are in a situation to raise our funds. You can help us too BY BECOMING A MEMBER. All it will cost you is $25 for a family in a year. You will be able to attend our AGM of members and be able to take active part in the charity. The only benefit by you being a member, to be upfront, is for the “helpless”. Ozindcare receives financial donations from its supporters. It could be due to many reasons, being for a specific purpose, sponsorships, to share the joy of achieving something, to name a few. Recently we received a donation of $1000 from one of our supporters who do not wish to publish his name. We can only thank him and his family for trusting us. Award for Ozindcare

Metro Malayalam, one of the leading Malayalam publications in Sydney has awarded Ozindcare for the best community service. The award night was conducted on February at Redgum Community Centre. The award was received by Prakash Palakkil, the current president, on behalf of the committee from Mark Taylor MP. Ozindcare would like to thank Metro Malayalam for their continued support for our organisation.
