Jeevan Sangeeth brings
more funds to Ozindcare

It was yet another successful show for Ozindcare when Jeeven Sangeeth, the newly formed musical group conducted a family musical night to raise funds for Ozindcare on Saturday 15th February 2014 at Dundas Community Centre. Show started at 6:30 and finished at 9:15pm.

Well known compere and the radio host Emie Roy was the MC for the night. Songs presented by Ramesh Krishnaswami, Sethumadhavan, Biju George, Manoj Varma, Rajasekhar, Divya Sairam, Leena Rajasekharan and Samyuktha Sethumadhavan were well enjoyed by the audience. Food prepared by Ozindcare volunteers were also sold at the venue. We were able to raise more than $1400 during this occasion. The committee would like to extend our gratitude to all those involved during this function.

Ticket Sales for “SACRED GRAHAS” kick starts

The first ticket for our next fundraising mega show “SACRED GRAHAS” was handed over to Mrs. Usha Gangadharan by Rasika Dance Academy director Mrs. Manjula Viswanath. Ex committee officials Ummer Kinathil, Mahadevan, Beena Viswanath, Reena Sunil, and Anita Kurien along with present committee members were present during the inauguration ceremony. Ozindcare visits the needy

Leslie Bonney, the current vice president of Ozindcare visited few families in India from whom we received request for financial help. This was to make sure that the help given by Ozindcare reaches the deserving people. He says when we see the real suffering of people due to illness or unfortunate incidents which is not within their control; we feel how lucky we are to be able to lead such a healthy and peaceful life here in Australia. It only takes few dollars from many to make a substantial amount which will be of great help for those who are helpless. All we need is willingness to help others. When we help others who are totally unknown to us, we get help form totally unknown people in return when we are in need.

It has been our practice to check and make sure that the financial and other help given by Ozindcare reaches the right people. We have few volunteers in India to support our cause and we hand over the finance through them. If you would like to help us in this matter, please let us know

Volunteers needed

Ozindcare is a non-political non-religious charity organisation managed and run by volunteers.

Are you willing to spend few hours in a week to work for the helpless that brings out the good within you…

If yes, please join Ozindcare and become a volunteer. Tell us how you can help to raise much needed funds to “help the helpless”. We are looking for area representatives to coordinate our fund raising activities and coordinate the distribution in various parts of Australia. Please contact Ozindcare if you are interested.

Membership drive

We are embarked on a membership drive in 2014 aiming to increase the paid up membership to at least 100 families by end of this year. Our request to all our current members is to get as many families as possible to join Ozindcare.

Together we can make a difference. It costs only $25 annually for a family membership and $10 for an annual individual membership.
